HDV copied to DV timeline---slow motion goes haywire!!!

Wow!? This whole working in HDV native has been an eye opening experience, to say the least. Trying get get things to export to a proper DVD format has been rather elusive.

I copied my final timeline sequence (in HDV easy setup) to an new sequence with and easy setup for NTSC DV anamorphic.

All my slow motion clips (60-70% speeeds) went haywire- glitchy , flashy, etc...

Why? What is the proper work flow to get his HDV seqeunce to DV so I can export. (HDV to MPEG-2 in compressor has yeilded nothing but strange lines and pixelation).

Please help.

I still haven't had my hands on any HDV, but I wonder if you might somehow export just the speed effected clips as self contained movies, then re-insert them in the DV timeline?

So - make a new timeline, drop in your (real time) clip, export as dv, reimport, then apply speed changes on the DV export timeline.

Someone else probably has a much simpler and more elegant workaround, but this came to mind as a breaking point solution.
