Remove skin highlights -- any hope?

Hey guys,

Doing post on that makeup client job shot on HVX200 at 720p 24; LOTS of detail in the model's faces so I've been trying to add diffusion in post to cover up pores, blemishes, etc. So far, 55MM Skin Smoother and Magic Bullet Un-bloom are my new best friends...

... unfortunately there's a few bright/shiny spots on their faces, the nature of the makeup and lighting (and a little sweat). They don't look too 'greasy' but the client wants them smoothed out. If these were stills I'd go to town in Photoshop; any suggestions on what to try?

TIA, JK

Joey will probably know but I believe there are tools in After Effects for this. I do know the big boys use Combustion to not only smooth out the skin but take off a few pounds. I can't see FCP doing this easily.
