Software to analyze Quicktime movie

Hi all

I was wondering if there is a piece of software that can be used to determine the various parameters of a quicktime file.

For example the codec compressor used, the quality settings, the audio settings, etc.

I'm thinking this could be very usefull for people generating files so that they match one another.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Most of that information is already available in QuickTime Player. Press APPLE-I for the frame size, codec, data rate, audio format, sample rate etc. Press APPLE-J for even more information.

Yes, QuickTime is your friend. QuickTime Pro even more because it will let you export to a different format than you opened.
