how to get color info for text generator, so as to match scrolling to regular title

I only see "intuitive" options for selecting color don't want to eyeball this.

would simply copy the title then redo it if I weren't switching from "text" to "scrolling text" making that impossible.

If your old piece that you were matching to has a certain colour, why not just call up the Control tab and the colour box, and look at the numeric values in the RGB sliders?

If all else fails, use the Eyedrop tool to sample the old colour and do it that way.
