Anybody familiar with this odd bug: looks like media is offline when it isn't?!

Hi there Pals,

Certain clips in my timeline, and it appears to be the same ones over and over, have the media Offline appearance in the track itself. however the media is there, and relinking (unecessarily) does not make it go away.

it'll go away sometimes if I refresh by, for instance, changing my size-of-track choice, but it goes back...

Should I be worried?

no need to be worried.
it;s just a slight corruption in your thumbnail cache.
if you delete that, your thumbnails will be forced to re-draw, and all should be fine again.

the thumbnail cache is *most likely* in:

your home folder / documents / Final Cut Pro Documents.

you may want to check that in your system settings (Shift Q)
