Clip info to spreadsheet - but how?

Hello,

I need to get three things into a spreadsheet from my timeline:

Where the clips start
How long they run
And the name of each.

Excel is my destination.

I've tried to batch it, make a list through cinema tools and downloaded a third party software.

Am I just crazy or shouldn't this be possible?

I'll type this out manually if need be, but revisions are going to be a headache.

Any suggestions?

Try my XML2Text app (http://www.spherico.com/filmtools).
You need to export the sequence as XML than import into XML2Text and output a batchlist from there.
