ASPECT RATIO TROUBLE EXPORTING FROM ANAMORPHIC SOURCE TO H264 HALF SIZE

I'm trying to export an H264 compression from an anamorphic DV master from FCP 3.04 through the Quicktime Export option (running QT 7.1.3). I'm compressing for my website, and I want the H264 to be 360 in width.

Trick is, when doing anything other than the native dimensions, I can't find a way to get the math right so that my aspect ratio is correct.

Has anyone been down this path? If I'm going from 720x486 anamorphic, and my target is 360x (X), how do I calculate X in square pixel terms?

Any help is greatly appreciated ...

Anamorphic is 16:9
16/9 = 1.777777

360*1.777777 = 202.5

Use 202.
