dragging clips into timeline and disregarding the in out points

Ive done an edit, adding in out points for each clip.
NOw i need to drag all the origional clips into the timeline but i dont want to use the in out points...
I know there must be a simpler way to do this than dragging them all out manually...

with the browser in list view,
select all the clips.
control or right click on one of the in-poits in the IN-point column. select "clear"
do the same for the out points

now you have no in/outs on the clips.

Thanks a lot..havent tried it yet but it sounds like it will work
