quicktime compatibility

Hello,

I need to send a video file to a television station which uses Avid express as their editing software. Of course I have Final Cut Pro. If I export the file as a quicktime fil and move it to a DVD, will they be able to open it in Avid to edit? Thanks for your help!

<<<Avid express>>>

If this was regular Avid, I could help. Also, the advice changes depending on which platform the install was based.

Call them.

I've done the other way around...an HDV timeline in Avid XPress HD was successfully exported as DV NTSC to be edited in Final Cut Pro 4.5. Not sure if the other way would work.
