Storage Question
April 13, 2007 06:27PM
Hello!

I see the sponsored links on this page for Storage solutions, unfortunately all of these solutions come with HDD pre installed.

My Question:
Besides Firewire Depot, does any one know of other companies that offer external, Hard drive enclosure kits ?

I'm a do it yourself-er, and I would like to find a company out there that can sell me a box, trays, and options for bridgecards.

Currently, I'm stuck with FW 400 and IDE drives, and I am looking to "future proof" myself by purchasing a barebones box that I can exchange the guts in for eSata and SATA drives later.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance for your replies!!

Before you ride off in all directions, there's a little thing I wrote about buying an enclosure a bit earlier. It's on the second page.
