Sony hvr-v1u vs. Canon XH A1

Does anyone have experience with both these cameras?

Does anyone know of an article comparing them against each other?

Saw both at NAB yesterday and I am longtime Canon user (still cam). I thought Canon's highlights in their demo reel were blown out and their 24F was choppy.

Sony's demo of the HVR was much more balanced and their 24P looked awesome. I heard there isn't an application that will edit their 24P (did I misunderstand something?).

Which one would you get ...and why?

I have used both (although I shot on the ZIP, not HVR) and
my personal opinion is that the Canon is better.

I thinkt hey use the same codec but the image was better from the XH1.
