XDCAM and MINI HDV

The situation is this: there are two xdcam disks with footage on them and then there are about 60 mini dv hdv tapes as well. We have two systems, one is a FCP 5.1.4 and the other is FCP 5.0
If I use the 5.0 for digitizing only, will we, the assistant editor and I run into problems?

He will be using the 5.1.4 system the Prod. Co. rented.

I would say no way.

If you went the other way there could potentially be some problems however.
