Why Am I still Rendering

I have a Power Mac Dual 2.66 Dual Intel Xeon with 8 gig o' ram Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT.

Why is it I have to render an Live Type Over lay on track 2 over regular DV video.

Using Ulimited RT / full quality / Frame rate full / Playback quality High, should i use dynamic?

And i am using a Black Magic Multi Bridge Pro.

Any suggestion's or input?

dont use LT much myself,
but isn't it the case that the LT exports as Animation codec?
that'll need rendering no matter what you do.

Check the project properties when you start your project, the default one isn't ntsc dv 3:2.

Thats probably the culprit.
