Putting FCS1/2on laptop?

I need to put FCP on a 17 inch powerbook laptop for a few days to finish a job away from home.
I have all the disks for FCS1 and also the FCS2 upgrade. Do i need to put the FCS1 disks in first and then load the FCS2 upgrade after or can i just load up the upgrade version? In other words is the FCS2 box i bought a couple of months back a ready to go standalone package or does it require the computer to have the previous version on it?

You can install FCS2, but you'll need the FCS1 serial number also.
