green circle

hey...probably kinda a dumb question, but here we go...

I'm working on a dual 2.3, PowerPC G5. 2.5 GB ram. FCP 5.0.1

How do I deactivate a green circle with a checkmark in it? The circle's near the top horizontally, and centered vertically.

That's Range Check. Shut it off by pressing CONTROL-Z or going into the View menu.
