I'm attempting to trash my FCP preferences in hopes of fixing a freeze frame creation problem (previously posted).
Now I'm opening up FCP post-pref folder trashing. Final Cut is asking the whereabouts of dozens of Waves Plug-Ins folders. I encountered this when I installed FCS2 last month thinking I'd never have to deal with this again.
I downloaded a Waves Plug-in Demo a while ago for Logic and have since then tried to remove all remnants of Waves from my computer, even trashing the "waves preferences" folder I found near the FCP pref folder.
My question is how do I remove Waves once and for all so I never have to sit through 30 minutes of FCP asking where all these previously though non-existant files are?

Nevermind. Figured it out. I missed some pref files named "waveshell" aka "waves"

Thanks for telling us what the cure was. Often folks just put "figured it out" and run.
