Out put to DVD

I have final cut studio 2. I finished a 30 sec. commercial and I need to out put a copy to DVD. Can you please tell me how to do it. Should I use compressor?

That's a pretty big question. Do you need a data dvd or an authored dvd? That is - do you want to just transfer the quicktime file to someone else using a dvd, or do you want it to be able to be played automatically when loaded into a dvd player?

Thank you very much for your response. What I need to do is, because I'm done with the project, is to make some DVD's for my client, that they can play them in any DVD player.

You need authoring software like DVD studio Pro to do it. If you are in a hurry and don't like steep learning curves, use roxio Toast. It has automated features to author very basic DVD's from quicktime files.
