Hi all,

As promised an early beta of both the plugin and the app - more after IBC.

Download the plugin from [www.spherico.com]
Install as any normal FCP plugin.
I'm not a FXscript wizard so the plugin is some kind of quick'n dirty, but it works.
The settings are pretty obvious, play a little bit with that filter to see what happens.

Download the app from [www.spherico.com]

Here how it works.

In your timeline find out the clip with the longest name, add the "Spherico Timecode Reader Plus" to the video and do the setup. ( the effect is found at "Effects -> Video Filters -> Video"winking smiley

Export the sequence as XML and either drag it to the "TCR Plus" app or click the only button in the app's interface to navigate to the XML to open.
With bigger sequences it will take a while to "clean" the XML and there is no progress bar right now.
The app will look for the first "Spherico Timecode Reader Plus" filter found in track 1 and then apply it to all clips in track 1 with the matching clip name.

Then re-import the XML.

Only 50 clips wil be processed. You can split/merge your sequences to get more.

Let me know how it works.

Andreas-

This sounds extremely cool and thank you for the effort. I have a small project to try it on. Will report back.

Could easily change the complexion of Review and Approval.
