24fps project, out to tape for mix

Hi all,

I am finishing an animated feature, cut in 24fps timeline.
sent 24fps qts to sound house to do edit, they returned temp mix stems.
feature is going to DI, and film. I thought they could mix to the 24fps quicktimes and put the stems to the DI.

However they want to final mix to tape, is it possible to get my 24fps timeline accurately to tape?
What is the process of getting a 24fps timeline to tape so that sync stays in tact for mixing purposes?
