I can't see the image scrubbing in the canvas. Can u help me?

I saw another post about the sema problem with audio, the solution was to push shift-S or go to "view" and turn on the audio scrubbing. But now I have the same problem with the image itself. When I go back and forward frame to frame or second to secont it is not displayed. However, it is when I hit play and with the JKL comands. Thank u.

Make the Canvas active and press the W key a couple times -- you may be in Wireframe display mode.

Or press SHIFT-W to cycle RGB-Alpha channel display modes.
