FilemakerPro and FCP6, EDIT - Final Log?

Hey everyone...

So i have used filemaker pro to log and capture and update the metadata fields of my clips within FC. Now however, I was wondering if there is a way to export a "EDL" from filemaker so that my writer could do a paper edit that i could import into final cut, creating a new sequence. I found a beta program on the apple site called Movie Assembler, but it seems to be broken. Anyone else ever do this?

I just came across Final Log - anyone have any experience with it?
Thanks!

I don't think an EDL is right for this; I'd simply export as a Comma-separated list for import to Excel and export same for import to FCP.

I don't know how much pre-editng you can do without a handy utility like Digital heaven't MovieLogger, which although it doesn't control a deck or camera certainly allows you to view captured QuickTime reels and annotate with editing notes and then export for FCP via XML.
