Daft Garbage matte question....

I have found myself in need of a 16 (or more) point garbage matte and came across paul crisps free ones via the mighty ken stones site. I have used them in my personal system at home (a dual 1ghz G4 with osx 10.5 with fcp 4.5) and all seems good. But need to check before i install on my machine at work. Which is a dual 2.66ghz intel running osx10.4 with fcp 5.1.4.

The plug-ins say for fcp 1.2.5 and above but doubt was cast over the use of them by our i.t guy.

using one right now.

one small problem i'm having with those is that if i track the position of the matte, using the "postion" controls,
it's then devilishly hard to make adjustments to the matte shape.

i doubt this is a FCP5 or 6 issue, just the way the filter works.

it's brilliant if the shape doesn't change much.
