Importing VTS?/.VOB files to FCP

I am having problems importing video files downloaded from a miniDVD. It says that it is an unrecognized file type. When the camera was connected to the computer I had no problem viewing the files on my laptop. I moved all the files and now I am unable to get them into Final Cut Pro.
The files read as follows VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_0.IFO, VTS_01_0.BUP
