turn off broadcast safe?

HI! Just wondered how to turn off broadcast safe (meter)? I keep having red zebra stripes and a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it. I know I need to fix those but I want to have the thing off. I turned it on and can't remember how to turn off? Please any help would be great! Jen

it's under the VIEW menu: Range Check > Excess Luma

also look for "Excess Luma" under the "view" pulldown at the top of the canvas and viewer.

finally: Control Z will toggle it on/off.
