I've been using a 20' TV to monitor my FCP projects (I know, bad bad bad). I'm looking at a better, but smaller monitor from JVC. I like the monitor but I don't like the size, and I sometimes like to see what my projects look like on a "normal" TV. Is there a way to connect both monitors so they're showing the same thing?

Yes.

Check the specs for the JVC, mine has composite and S-Video outputs that loop video through. There may be some latency on playback, but it will do the trick.

I run my image from a Sony DSR-40 deck to both a 14" BQ Trinitron and to a 27" consumer-grade NTSC Panasonic. Accurate color amd worst case delivery assessment. (There's a QTVR spin movie of the offline studio setup on my website, couple years old esentially the same today.)

Works fine while saving up for new 8-core toys...
