Timecode FCP 6.0.2 V1U 24P Reverse Telecine

Is there a way to do a Reverse Telecine on footage shot at 24p on a Sony V1U and still be able to maintain timecode?

My ultimate goal is to be able to shoot 24p, have Device Control and keep timecode so that I could have the option to recapture my sequence from tape down the road if need be.

I am willing to capture at 29.97 and do a Reverse Telecine in Cinema Tools for new clips to be editing in a 24fps timeline, maintaining the original Ins and Outs of the 29.97 clips.

I may not be asking this question in the right way for I recently have learned how to use Reverse Telecine with footage shot in 24pA on a Sony V1U and don't know all the tricks of HDV and Cinema Tools. I am not satisfied with the Apple Intermediate Codec where I lose Device Control and timecode.
