smooth point tool for audio in fcp timeline?

Dear FCP users

Was recently in my timeline setting keyframes in my aduio clips.

Noticed that there is a "smooth point tool"!!!!

Tried useing this but with no success.

Am I missing something here?

1. smooth point tool selected
2. and click on the pink rubber band?

either get the move up/down symbol or if I go on an exisiting keyframeI get a little arrow with an X but nithing more! What am I missing here????

Would be very cool if I could have nice smooth keyframes for audio.

Sadly, smooth tool is for video keyframes only, not audio.
