Exporting log notes

So, FCP 6 does away with the .mov at the end of your clips.
I had to export an XML and bring it into FCP 5.1.4 but now I can't reconnect any of my clips.
Any suggestions?

I haven't seen that. Could that be an OSX View setting for "hide extensions" which is troubling you?
