Cannot export due to plug-in nonsense..

Our distributor needed the hard drives containing our FCP and media to export for Video On Demand.

They didn't have trouble making a high-quality Mpeg-2, but now they are exporting to 10-bit uncompressed and are having an issue.

An error comes up when export has been under way "BCC4 Denoise Xw8" or something like that. I assume that it is because they are using FCP 4 and the denoise plugin is from FCP5.

So they upgraded to FCP 5, installed it, and, upon export, the same erorr occurs. It is same version I am running, so why can't the plugin be found?

Now it's doing the same error for "Title 3D"....frustrating, wish they could just export the movie as it plays in the timeline.

Sounds like the application and plugins were not properly installed. Make sure the items it's looking for are on the computer and available in the application.

BCC4 (Boris Continuum Complete 4) does NOT come with any version of FCP.

they wil have to get that

Title 3D (Boris again) does come with FCP but needs to be installed by the user, i think.
it can be found on the install disks... look for an extras folder.

a solutuion would be for YOU to do the export and send that.
sending a project off to another system there bound to be problems.
