720p24n (files from HVX200 of course) to 480i29.97 on Mac?

Editing 720p24n and I need to deliver 720x480i59.94 (29.97) FILE for broadcast.
Client has requested H264 (no problem there).

What's the FASTEST way in Computer to get from start to finish. Remember I need to deliver file (by FTP) not tape so there's no output card to add pulldown.

Compressor. It does this file conversion.

H.264 720x480? For broadcast? Really? Because broadcast is 720x486....480 is DV only resolution. Seems odd that they'd choose that.

Cable Access?

Dish Network (Satellite). They're OK with 480 although I usually do 486 (actually 512 for VBI) for SD broadcast. Normally I'm just dealing with spots and using Episode.

I'm playing with a Compressor workflow (I like challenging myself).

I'm brain dead today (working WAY too many hours).

I'm looking at Compressor Frame Controls Rate Conversion and don't see anything that obviously goes to 29.97 from 23.98. In other words nothing that says 23.98 @ 29.97

I can change frame rate from "Current" to 29.97 in H.264 but not sure if that's the way to go.

Also I wonder if there's a difference between creating 23.98 in 29.97 rather than a conversion to "true" 29.97, that later of which I'd suspect would take much longer.

Nothing will say "23.98 to 29.97." You just choose the format you want to export out as, and Compressor will remove the pulldown. Not as well as a capture card would, but it will.

Actually I want to add pulldown.

I want to program it to add pulldown in Frame Controls but I don't see how.
Episode has a Frame Rate filter which explicitly has "Telecine 23.98 -> 29.97" as a choice.

In Compressor there's percentage or preset choices, duration, so source frame play at with Frame Controls when File Format is set to QuickTime Movie.

Of course if I were to copy and modify a DVD preset it allows me to target a frame rate.

Using Quicktime Movie I can go into Settings set to H.264 and change Frame Rate from "Current" to 29.97. That "seems" to work but I had thought there'd be a way to do it through Frame Controls. I'm probably overthinking this since, testing by just using a DVCPro50 NTSC Anamorphic preset, works the same way apparently. The Frame Rate is described in Settings and not Frame Controls.
