FX Factory requires Leopard?

I'm about to buy FX Factory Pro, when I notice that it requires Leopard. Ugh! I would really like to play around with it on the job I'm working on, but I'm still on 10.4.11

Is there a non-Leopard version available on their site that I'm overlooking?

Or should I just suck it up and make the leap to Leopard? How dangerous is it to switch up OS mid-project? I don't even like to upgrade FCP mid-project... so wouldn't doing the OS be even more dangerous?

It does? I thought it only ran on Leopard too - I couldn't find any reference to running it on Tiger anywhere, which is why I don't have it.

Where did you download it, Andreas?

It depends on which version of FX Factory you have. I believe that it is only version 2.0.4 and newer that requires 10.5.

All the different versions of FxFactory are here:-

so you can pick the version you need to run with Tiger

You are correct in assuming that the latest version will only run on leopard, but bare in mind some plugins in earlier versions will not work with Tiger too.
