Just a heads up...this is a great handy tool for your toolbox. I worked on the BETA and this one's a total winner. It has 3 plug-ins in the set:

* Advanced Corner Pin
* Shadow
* Reflection

Compatibility:

Apple Macintosh

Mac OS X 10.4.4 - 10.4.11
Mac OS X 10.5.2 and later
Power Mac G5, Mac Intel
1 GB of RAM
30 MB of Hard Drive space

Host Apps:

Adobe After Effects CS4, CS3, 7
Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, CS3 (Windows only)
Apple Final Cut Pro 6, 5.1.4
Apple Motion 3.02
Avid Xpress Pro/Media Composer 5.6, 5.7 / 2.6, 2.7

Skinny on the features:

Here's an example of something I created using one footage layer with Shadow & Reflection applied to it (no background / floor / wall solids):

Cool idea but what angle is that reflection supposed to be?

Does it have control of the reflection/shadow plane? As that image is technically/physically wrong...

Unless it is a 'projection' and not a reflection....

You can control all aspects of the angles / reflection / shadow bend / etc. That is just an example to show 2 plug-ins in action at the same time. Obviously you wouldn't have a shadow going backwards with a reflection going forwards.

The Corner Pin plug-in also uses the tracking data from Imagineer's Mocha AE tracking plug-in (now included in CS4).

Download the free trial & play with it:

Hmm,

For what is the posted picture an example for? Definitively not for reflection.

Andreas,

You don't see a colored reflection on the floor in front of the image? Wow.

Had a play...

Not so good in FCP but great in AE - and perfect timing too as I have a project that needs this effect!

Will save me more than the cost of the plugin in time...

Some people may call that a reflection, but a real reflection does look different.
It's a bit about physics smiling smiley

Glad to hear it Ben. All RGS stuff works 1000 times better in AE than FCP and yeah, the cost of the thing will pay for itself on the first project.

Andreas...

Like I said earlier...you can control all aspects of the angles / reflection / shadow bend / etc. I did that effect in about 30 seconds. Didn't think it would raise such a ruckus. By all means don't make any decisions on my 30 second comp....download the trial. Tweakers will have a field day with this plug-in.
