FCE to FCP regular, How can i convert a project file?

FCE to FCP regular, How can i convert a project file?

I have been given a Final Cut Express file that I will be doing the Online on and Color grading.

I need to open it in Final Cut Pro but it will not allow me because i dont have Express.

Can anyone give me any work arounds?

I opened FCP
and in FCP open and then the FCE file that forced it to open it up.

I was trying to open the FCE file and thought it would automatically open it up in FCP Studio.

Good to know. I'm new to LAFCPUG, new to FCE, new to Apple. Still wet behind the ears. Will be getting FC Suite 2 in the spring... I hope.
