When clips slip out of sync, a red box appears. right click on it and select "slip into sync".

That's really vague. OPTION-G is "Go to Previous Gap". (To look up a shortcut, press OPTION-H to access Customize - Keyboard Layout, then you can either look at the keyboard graphic interface to find what a command does, or use the search engine to find if there's a shortcut for a particular operation.) I'm guessing what you mean is actually Match Frame (F), which calls up the master clip with video and audio at its raw state, no filters, Motion or level adjustments. www.derekmok.com
Sorry I'm not explaining myself very well.
I'm not talking about sync more "link". while editing I deleted the video and just have the audio in the timeline. How can I get the video back that belongs to that audio? I know there's a nifty shortcut for it, but I don't remember and can't find it...
And the keyboard commands for those are Command- N (for video track N) and Option- N (for a specific Audio track) or turn all video off with Command-Zero or all audio off with Option-Zero! OMG, it just goes on forever....

Well, generally speaking I think KB shortcuts are much faster than anything mousey, but in this instance, I think a right click on the red box & a move into sync or slip into sync is faster.
If you option click on the sound to temp unlink your hands already on the mouse so you might as well have done the right click. Of course you could have done Shift+ 4 then plus or minus the number of frames on the keypad. Dave
