Raising documents on it's x-axis to give a 3d look. Please help.

To everyone,

I am relatively new to final cut pro and was wondering how do I raise a document on it's x-axis with a 3d look. I tried usind a 3d filter but for some reason the middle of the document is cropped into. PLease help........

I won't advise touching 3D movements in Final Cut Pro. It's always a job for other apps, at the very least of it is Motion.

On the other hand, there's the 3D filter and you can try touching up the effect in the Motion tab in Final Cut Pro as well, if you find Motion to be a fairly steep learning curve.
