In it goes, along with a colorful intro on cracking that digital FCP manual from Joey.

I got to thinking- Joey, what happens when even the directions to the manual are too hard? I made a quick applescript, that simply launches the Manual. It's called FCPFixAll.app. Please feel free to use it when you aren't getting anywhere. (Unless of course, they haven't told you that not only do they not have FCP installed, but they're running Windows 95. Then this app is of no help at all.)
You can download the app at [drop.io] or simply paste the following into script editor- tell application "Preview" open "/Applications/Final Cut Pro.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/Final Cut Pro Help/Final Cut Pro User Manual.pdf" end tell ---- www.JamesNWeber.com - Socially Aware Media and introducing- www.FCPTutorials.com - One source for all Final Cut Tutorials
Hmm... since we're on manuals... There's that "help" key that's really more of an annoyance (it pops up every now). Is there anyway to turn off help?

Feature request time! Or wait. maybe someone will write us a plug-in for this...

Erm... Actually, I realized that they removed that key in the new aluminium keyboard (they probably realized it was more of a hindrance). And no, there's no way to remap that darn key. www.strypesinpost.com
