X800 problems

i just installed an ati readeon x800 video card and suddenly i am having to detect screen like everytime the cpu sleeps. it sometime switches from 1024 to 800 at times it has been down over night.

anyone had this problem b4?

g5 1.8 dual / 2.5g ram/ flat face old school crt screen/ os 10.4.6

Haven't had this problem myself, but make sure you have the latest firmware and drivers from ATI. And make sure to read all the instructions re: the firmware update.
