OT: Good Mac repair shop in LA?

Hi all,

It's now Day Three of unsuccessful attempts to get my boot drive to boot. I've exhausted the usual home troubleshooting remedies, and I seek pro help.
My great Mac guy moved away to be Mexico's great Mac guy, and now I'm in search of a Mac shop in LA ( or Ventura or Sanata Barbara) with real diagnostic knowledge.

Does anybody have a a repair person or shop they can recommend?

ooh, yes a GOOD mac store in ventura sb area ould be nice, theirs like mac talk, but hell, any store that tells you that they'd recomend not going with a scratch disk or two boot drives, and just get a 500gb drive in there, doesn't know so muc abou our profession, now do they?
