Feature requests for improved Lower Third generator?

Before I finish my next free plugin, do you have any feature requests?



Matt Davis suggested this one. He wanted a third text style, and more control over the solid behind the text (that's why 'Solid' is the default).

Like Matt, I like staying within Final Cut, so hardly ever create Motion templates. This'll be handy for me too.

I also unlocked the code that allows you to have more than one line for each text style

Here's the current UI:

Add an option to make it start solid on the left and fade out on the right? Like keying in a gradient when I used the COLOR SOLID to do these.

Chinese saying:

Shouldn't have to resort to so many layers and composite modes to achieve this.
