problem is stated in the subjectline.

Heres my workflow...

working with DVCPRO HD 1080p30, 1280 x 1080 source footage. 23.98 frame rate

editing in 23.98 timebase

using batch export function to export "sub clips"

creating image sequences of the subclips with batch export

format: image sequence
settings: most recent
-targa
-23.98
-millions of colors +

when i check the exported images i see that there is 1 extra frame exported.

i investigate more and find that the 25th and 26th frame are the same. so its creating a duplicate frame.

WTF man?

I'm sure there is logic to this. Shed your light good sir's

I've been told by one FX guy to use a frame rate of 23.976 for image-sequence exports from 23.98fps footage.
