Audio and video in sequence not linked - - but should be.

I have this weird problem. On my Mac Pro computer, when I drag a clip into a sequence, the video and audio are not linked. If I drag the end of a video clip, only the video moves, not the audio. The clip names (video and 2 audio tracks) are underlined, so they indicate they are linked. I have never seen this. On my Mac Book Pro, using the same version of FCP, all is well. I am using FCP version 6.0.5. Is there some setting I am overlooking? I have been using FCP since version 1 and I have never seen this before.

Your Linked Selection is off. Press SHIFT-L once to turn it back on, a second time to toggle it back off.
