Music list export? (Andreas Kiel;-)?

Hi All

Wondering if someone has written a little XML tool thingy that allows us to export the names of audio tracks out of fcp for Gema lists etc? i.e. into a text doc or maybe even better in an excel type of doc. Tried searching but to no avail :-(

For what purpose? If it's tracks say from iTunes Store- such an application would probably be illegal. If it's just names of individual audio tracks in your timeline, that's already in some EDL and XML exports.

I am supposed to fill out paper work for different clips

Somebody wants a record of what tracks I used

Using tracks from a music archive :-)

Rather than fill this out by hand I thought that it would be cool to be able to export from an excel column, per copy & paste into a digital edit report?

Have tried exporting a couple of timelines but get the following error....

" " doesn´t understand the <<event XML Indt>> message. (-1708)

Export a batch list. Open in Excel. Delete the columns that you dont need.

P wants info of clips in an edited sequnce.

and also takes into consideration not just total duration of the clips,
but whether they are audible or not. (analysing at volume graphing etc).

you can do a find on clips used a given sequence, filtered by whatever criteria is appropriate, and then export a batch list from the result
