FCS2 upgrade?

Finally going to make the jump to HD. I currently have been using FCP 4.5 but have decided to go ahead and buy Studio 2. Will the upgrade version work for 4.5 or do I need to buy the full or academic version? Also what is the difference between academic and full versions besides the price difference? I'm assuming I'll need to uninstall 4.5 using digitalrebellion and I'm hoping I'll be able to import 4.5 files into Studio 2, right? Thanks in advance!

If you have a full retail version of 4.5 there is an upgrade path to FCS2.

The academic version is not upgradeable and only available to qualified users.
