Which "Render Hardware" recommended for Old Mac Pro?

I'm getting the following message when I try to export:

"The effect Brightness failer to Render: Your hardware cannot render at the requested
size and depth."

Knowing I have an outdated 1.1 version Intel Xeon Mac, what is the best graphics card I can get that will support this type of Intel Mac and will solve the problem? I currently have a Mac Pro 1.1 2 x 2.66 ghz dual core processor, 8 gigs memory, NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT VRAM 256 mb.

I was going to get the Radeon 4870 but it's not compatible with my system.

Thanks.

you need a 512 card if thats a 3rd party filter using fxplug.

ati 4870 i think is the new technology.

there are plenty G-card threads here.
