Is anyone using FCS 2 on an imac

I was wondering was anyone here editing using a imac and FCS-2 or 3 and how is the performance?

last year i was using an iMac w FCS2.

to be honest, i want using all of the STUDIO,
i wasn't using Motion or Color, for instance.

but for editing, it's great.
i cut two features on it, no worries.

there's not a lot of heavy fx in what i do,
but some CC, simple compositing (pic-in-pic sort of stuff), titles.
plenty of RT on the iMac.


what sort of work do you want to do?

A former employer of mine had half a dozen recent-vintage iMacs with Firewire 800 RAIDs for use as offline stations. Worked fine for cutting ProRes 422 NTSC material. No monitoring obviously, but it was just for offline.

I would like to use it like you picture & picture CC HD etc.
