P2 cards and power failures

I shot about 45 min of footage on p2 cards when the power went out. Looks like I ended up with a corrupted file ( I guess its corrupted, its white and has an ! and ? mark in the corner)
and four incomplete files all 9:53:28 in length. I shot only one clip before power failure. Why did I get more than one clip. Did the power failure have anything to do with the one clip getting broken into 4 incomplete files at the above length or was it something else?

YOu can repair the clips in the camera. Look in the manual, I am not sure about the exact path, and since I don't have a camera near me, I can't look for it. Unsure why it did it to all four, but you can fix them all.
