Quicktime clips won't play

I just had a computer crash and was able to restore virtually all of my applications but for some reason my DVCPRO HD (720p60) clips will not display video. I can hear the audio but alas I see no video. I've been trolling the forums and suspect that somehow one or more of my QT Pro codecs is missing or corrupt. Does this sound correct? I should mention that I am on version 6.06 of FCP. Is there a way to fix this problem without reinstalling Final Cut? Thank you so much for your assistance.

You should not restore pro apps. Do a complete uninstall and reinstall of FCS2.
