Audio Only Capture

Audio Only Capture
March 18, 2010 08:23AM
Good morning,

I am trying to capture audio only (which I have successfully done dozens of times) and now I am getting an "Insufficient Disk Space Remaining in the Capture Scratch" error. When I add video back to the capture setting, it captures fine.

How can there be space for both audio and video, but "insufficient space" for audio only. My capture scratch is set for two 1 Tb drives (over 300 Gb remaining on the first and over 600 on the second).

Is there a setting that I may have inadvertently changed?

Thank you for any suggestions.

~Rob

What format are you talking about? How are you switching off the video exactly? Check your scratch disk in System Settings.

All the best,

Tom

When I open "Log and Capture" and switch to the "Clip Settings" tab. I de-select "Video" so that I am only capturing audio.

I have checked my scratch disk in System Settings, that is how I know how much space is still available.

Try trashing your prefs, repairing permissions, and rebooting.

All the best,
