"Hybrid"? What is the hell's the point of that? Make the SSD drives AFFORDABLE and lose the spindle altogether.

On the face of it, it seems like a reasonable idea. But since it's new, I think I'll take a wait-and-see approach.
Nothing bad about having the laptop boot faster. It makes me wonder about how recoverable data is from SSD. Data rom HDD can be recovered in some really bad cases.
