#FFFFFF when importing P2 to Quicktime

Hello, I'm new to HD, and have some footage I'm importing through FC 5.1.4. Some of the clips transfered perfectly well, but a few have the #FFFFFFF on them and they don't play, they aren't usable. Any suggestions? I can see them fine as P2 media in the transfer window. Thanks so much, Selena

What camera and what format is it shot on? Do the clips play in the L&T window, or is it just a thumbnail display?

First, thanks so much for responding! I appreciate it. The camera is a canon, but I don't know more right now. The clips do play in the L&T window, and the other clips load into final cut just perfectly, its just a few that get this message. Thanks for more thoughts and suggestions.

First, try trashing preferences.
